Dr. Todd Johnson
Director, Center for the Study of Global Christianity, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Dr. Todd Johnson has been with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) since 1978. Since 1983, he worked with the long-term church-planting arm of YWAM exclusively focused on the neglected peoples.
As director of the new Center for the Study of Global Christianity (CSGC) at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Dr. Johnson does research on the status of Christianity in every people, language, city, and country. The World Christian Database is online. See www.globalchristianity.org
Dr. Johnson and his wife Tricia and their daughters Laura (14), Claire (11), and Valerie (4) are currently finishing a six-month research trip in Asia. He has a Ph.D. in International Development from William Carey International University in Pasadena, California.
His team recently finished the second edition of the World Christian encyclopedia (Oxford University Press) and World Christian trends (William Carey Library), 3 volumes (2,600 pages total).
