Reasons for Faith
Assure victims of error, doubts and godless teaching
These 'reasons' are for seekers and students who've been bombarded with godless theories aimed to destroy faith. They are not to build faith, which comes from the Holy Spirit, the Word and the sacraments, but rather to expose deceptive teaching by materialistic rationalists, and "Be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." 1 Peter 3:5

"No matter where you are reading in the Bible, faith is the first mystery you should recognize. Faith is not believing that the story you're reading is true as written. That does nothing for anyone. Even unbelievers can believe this Bible story about Jesus' birth is true. Faith is not a natural work apart from God's grace, as the Scripture clearly teaches.
