We the members of

and ________________________________, our Small Group Shepherd,

 

hereby enter into covenant to shepherd the people of Christ in growth groups that will, by the grace of God, seek to:

 

·       Obey all the commands of Jesus. Matt. 28:18-20; John 14:15.

 

·       Show our love for God and for others. Mat.t 22:37-39; Tit. 2:14

 

·       Help others to become followers of Jesus. John 12:26; Acts 2:38

 

·       Serve and support one another. Gal 5: 13; 1 Thess. 3:12

 

·       Recognize and employ our spiritual gifts. Rom. 12:6-8; 1 Pet. 4:10-11

 

·       Worship the Shepherd, Jesus,  and tend his sheep. Acts 20:28; Eph. 4:11-13

 

·       Train new shepherds and launch new groups. Acts 14:23; 2 Tim. 2:2.
